British Breads - Thursday 26th September

Taking part in the British Food Fortnight initiative, we are showing our love for British food with one of the nation's most favourite foods, the bread. In this class you'll learn how to make an artisan cottage loaf, a buttery, also known as a rowie, or Aberdeen roll (a savoury Scottish bread roll), English muffins and a Bara brith (a yeast bread enriched with dried fruit).

The five hour workshop includes demonstrations, instructions and guidance on how to make, shape and bake a selection of British breads.

At the end of the class you will take home the breads you have made during the workshop along with a recipe and method booklet, to remind you of what you have learnt.

Also included in the price are light lunch and refreshments.
